Picture book " The Peace tree from Hiroshima"

This picture book is based on a true story about a Bonsai pine tree who survived atomic bombing in WorldWarⅡ in Hiroshima. The bonsai tree was donated to the National arboretum in Washington DC as as a gesture of friendship between America and Japan to celebrate the American Bicentennial by Yamaki family who took care of the tree for generations. Now the tree has lived more than 300 years.
