＊Thesis work：KOJIKI -The Story of Ancient Japan 

○２０１８年アイオワ大学大学院センター・フォア・ザ・ブック、MFA卒業制作として制作

日本の楮と西洋のコットン、フラックスを混合して漉いた手漉き紙。藍、黒豆、ロッグウッド、ハイビスカス、鉄による染め。絵は、リノリウムとポリマーの版をレタープレス機で刷り、ステンシルと日本画材を加えた。テキストは、金属の活版印刷用活字Bembo、１６ポイントを組みレタープレス機で刷った。文は、古事記の英訳本（ベイズル・ホール・チャンブレイン１９１９年、磯辺弥一郎１９２８年、）を自身で編集し、イザナギとイザナミの婚礼のシーンはガスタブ・ヘルドトの英訳本（２０１４年）から了解を得て引用。

カバーの布地は、タイトルを残して藍染めして和紙で裏打ち。製本方法は、ドラムリーフバインディング。収納箱は、絞り染めで藍染めした布を使ってクラムシェル様式で作成。

制作に当たって、アイオワ大学大学院の卒業委員会の先生方とクラスメイト、ポリマープリントの助言をいただいたラッセル・マレット、英訳文の引用を了承いただいたガスタブ・ヘルドトに感謝を述べたい。

○This book was completed by Kazumi Wilds at the University of Iowa Center for the Book in April 2018.

Handmade papers using flax, cotton and Japanese kozo fibers were used. Paper was dyed with Indigo, black beans, logwood, hibiscus and iron.

Images are letterpress printed from linoleum, polymer, and other relief methods. Stencil images and some mineral pigments of Japanese painting materials were applied by hand.

The text is printed from hand-set Bembo types. Most text was edited and interpreted from the translations by Basil Hall Chamberlain (1919), and by Yaichiro Isobe (1928). The text of the scene of marriage of Izanagi and Izanami at a pillar is from the book Kojiki transrated by Gustav Heldt, published in 2014.

The cover-cloth is dyed with indigo, using Japanese Katazome technique to show the title.

The book is bound in a drum-leaf binding.
